WELCOME TO Chinook guild of fibre arts!

  • CGFA is a Calgary-based fibre arts guild. 

  • Our focus includes quilting, needlework and rug hooking, but all fibre arts are welcome!

  • You are welcome to attend two meetings before you decide to join the guild.

We need two members

to volunteer to take on the

audit this year. 

Janice Johnston leads

the audit so you don't need

financial knowledge.  

It takes aobut six hours

followed by a meeting with the Finance Committee at the end

of August or early September.

WE meet at RIVER PARK CHURCH, 3818 14A STREET SW, CALGARY on the following days/times


  • Mondays from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. September thru June.  There are no Monday meetings during July and August and on provincially recognized statutory holidays;

  • Wednesdays from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. year round; and 
  • the second and fourth Thursday evenings of every month from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.  
NOTE:  There are no meetings on provincially recognized statutory holidays.
